Ingredients:
4 cups frozen watermelon chunks (1-inch pieces) * If using fresh watermelon, then add 1/4 cup ice
* Optional - 1 cup fresh/frozen strawberries
1-2 tbsp lime juice (freshly squeezed- can use lemon or key lime)
1/2 cup Clover Sonoma Greek yogurt
1/2 tablespoon honey (add more if desired)
1/2 cup Clover Sonoma milk (use as needed for blending)
1/4 cup fresh mint leaves, tightly packed
METHOD:
1. Start by gathering all the ingredients: watermelon, strawberries, fresh lime juice, yogurt, honey, milk, and mint.
2. Make sure the watermelon and strawberries are washed and cut into manageable pieces to ease blending.
3. Once blended, taste the smoothie. If you like it sweeter, add additional honey to taste and blend again briefly to mix.
For an extra touch of flavor and presentation, add a sprig of fresh mint or basil on top.
For the 4th of July, add watermelon wedge and blueberries on a skewer to garnish/save some sliced strawberries to place on the side of the glass.
