Tree Top Applesauce

As we all know the holiday season is drawing near. It's best to cut those calories as often as possible. Did you know that you can replace 1/2 the oil in the recipe with all natural applesauce to reduce the fat content without losing the taste? For example, if a recipe calls for 1 Cup Oil, use a ½ Cup Applesauce and 1/2 Cup Oil.
There you have it.
Additional way to use Apples and Treetop Applesauce:
*For breakfast or a snack, mix apple dices or chunky applesauce into Low- Fat Plain or Vanilla Yogurt, and season with a dash of Cinnamon and Nutmeg.
Grate an Unpeeled Apple into Natural-style applesauce to add texture and natural sweetness.
Add chopped, canned Apple slices to pancake batter; serve cooked apple pancakes with warmed maple syrup mixed with applesauce.
Whip together Applesauce and Light Margarine, and serve with muffins, breads or rolls.
