1# Dark Pitted Cherries

Zest of one orange

1 vanilla split and scraped

4 oz Sugar

8 oz Brandy

Combine all ingredients including the vanilla pod and bring to boil.

Turn down heat and simmer for 10min

Let cherries cool in liquid.

Strain out vanilla pod and store in infused liquid, chilled.
