Key Lime & Buttermilk Chess Pie

Ingredients 

Ingredients:

2 eggs, whisked

1 cup granulated sugar

1 ½ tsp. cornmeal

1 ½ tsp. flour

Pinch salt

1 oz unsalted butter, melted & cooled

2 Tbs. buttermilk

2 Tbs. key lime juice

1 ½ Tbs. apple cider vinegar

1 ½ tsp. key lime zest (from approx. 6 key limes)

1 tsp vanilla

Cooking Instructions 

1. In a large bowl, whisk the eggs, sugar, cornmeal and flour together until well combined.
2. Add in all the remaining ingredients until fully combined
3. Pour into pie shell and bake at 325 degrees for 20 mins. Rotate and cook at 300 degrees for 20-30 mins, or until firm and slightly brown
