M. ENTERTAINMENT IS SETTING THE TABLE AND

SERVING IT TO YOU “FRESH”

LODI, Calif. (JULY 16, 2003) – Bushels of the freshest produce are coming to an area near you!  M. Entertainment announces the debut of its new cooking show, Bringing it Home with Laura McIntosh™ on August 3, 2003 on television stations from Bakersfield to Las Vegas.  The reality-based series will bring agriculture to the forefront, cooking gourmet meals in the middle of harvesting action, as it demonstrates the entire cycle of featured items - from the farms and fields to the homes of its viewers.

Bringing it Home is an updated cooking show that incorporates real food and real people. The thirty-minute program invites executive chefs from renowned culinary destinations, such as San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, and the Napa Valley, to create three recipes featuring a seasonal specialty.  The host, Laura McIntosh, lends a hand, demonstrating how quick and easy it can be to prepare a healthy, nutritious meal with fresh ingredients and end up with gourmet results.

While dinner is in the oven, Laura travels from the kitchen to the field to speak face-to-face with one of the most important people in the food chain: the farmer!  Laura and our culinary and farming experts help connect the fields with the food to show people exactly where their food comes from. 

“Our program shows anyone that fresh foods combined with quick and easy preparation make the best meal,” says host Laura McIntosh.  “Whether you are entertaining guests or cooking a simple meal for the family, the clean flavors of our state’s agricultural bounty come together to create simplistic foods at their best.”

Laura McIntosh is the former host of The Full Bloom Show, a cooking program that aired on ABC network affiliates for three and ½ years until April 2002.  A fifth-generation farmer’s daughter, Laura has grown up appreciating the land and enjoying the fresh foods grown on this land.
