Farmers, chefs, and musicians...how could you miss this? It's as natural a relationship as PB & J.
Cultivate was brilliant, it was free with a free concert series, – a great location, amazing food and a truly cool educational movement about food. The event is sponsored by Chipotle, yes, those genius creators of quality chain food, and thought provoking advertising (if you haven't seen Scarecrow, it's a must: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lUtnas5ScSE).
“We are changing the way people think about and eat fast food, and that includes helping people understand more about how food is raised and prepared. Cultivate allows us to bring people together for a celebration of food and music, but also to educate them about how food can be raised responsibly.” -Danielle Winslow | Public Relations and Marketing , Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc.
It was such a great day you didn’t even realize you were learning. Think about just the titles of some of the activity stations: GMO EXPERIENCE, FACTORY VS. FARM, FRESH VS. PROCESSED.
This is an event that is clearly defining its platform, yet like much of its marketing, challenges the user to make the correct choice. They made learning fun, cool and relaxing.
That is truly what brought both Chipotle and Bringing It Home together. Sharing with folks where there food comes from, how to enjoy it and sustain it!
Loved the day.
